Well from in my point of view Al Qaeda was originally a global group that defended and help other Muslims by volunteering against invading countries like the soviets in Afghanistan but later became engaged in conflict with the US and eventually engaged in terrorism, since then it became an Idea. and it didn't operated only in Arabia it operated in Afghanistan and Sudan(i think). so it was a global organization,They are more dangerous than ISIS could ever be. Think about it, what if a group which had the same worldview as ISIS decided to be a lot less asshole-ish about it? So many Muslims worldwide are fed up with foreign meddling, invasion, occupation of Muslim countries. If ISIS never went full retard and actually was nice to its citizens and minorities and never got into terrorism, their "Caliphate" would probably have swallowed up all of Syria by now and be threatening to take over Jordan.

Could you do all that then go around filming yourself donating and volunteering at places they hate and do it in the name of ISIS?Like volunteer at the women's shelter in the name of ISIS, or give blood to the people injured in Orlando...
